Neudata Summer Online Summit 2021 Speaker, Paul White
Quantbot CEO and Co-founder, Paul White, was one of the presenters at the Neudata Summer Alt Data Summit. Paul’s talk ‘Data is Everything’ discussed how Quantbot manages its ever growing data science demands using tools from CodeWilling and Options IT for smart task routing in the private and public clouds.

Quantbot Technologies Furthers Research Partnership with MIT
For the last 2 years, Quantbot has had the privilege of being a company sponsor for the MIT Master of Finance mid-winter research practicum, called the Finance Lab. By working closely with selected groups of Masters candidates, we engage in focused research that benefits not just ourselves but helps prepare future quants to gain real-world experience at a Quant firm. In our role as sponsor, we have also developed a working partnership with the head of the Finance Lab, Professor Gita Rao. Just as we begin our 3rd straight year sponsoring projects for MIT, our working partnership with Professor Rao has come to fruition with her own research. As highlighted in a recent MarketWatch opinion article written by Professor Rao and entitled ‘A surprise about some ESG funds — they actually vote against environmental and socially conscious resolutions’, she was able to utilize Quantbot’s unique data infrastructure to create and categorize the datasets needed for her research. We value cultivating working relationships with academic institutions, and we are proud to offer our resources to Professor Rao and the students of MIT’s MFin program.
